The history

Earthwise is family owned and operated and in business since 1992. The first in the industry to color and bag mulch for sale to homeowners, landscapers, and retail stores, we are a leader in the bagged materals market. Our process started with shovel-in-hand bagging mulch for our customers and now is a fully automated process, allowing us to meet high quantity demands.

The place

Based in South Florida, Earthwise has several locations to serve you. Our 30 acre production plant in Okeechobee receives wood, manufactures, colors, bags and ships over 250 truckloads state wide each week. In addition, we have retail centers to serve landscapers, homeowners, garden centers, and retail stores.

The products

Earthwise offers a full line of bagged and bulk landscaping products to meet all your landscaping needs. Our mulches are nationally certified by the Mulch and Soil Council and are made from whole log form timber or shredded wood fiber from land clearing. All our mulches are shredded to prevent floating. With natural and colored mulches, soils, fertilizers, rocks, Morton Salt, yard and garden fabrics and more, we offer one stop shopping to our customers.

The service

Our production plant and retail centers are open six days a week. Our fleet of bulk and flat-bed trucks deliver statewide 24/7 and, in most cases, offer same or next day delivery.

Our drive thru retail centers offer fast friendly service. Whether your job calls for one bag or 200 bags we load your vehicle and offer local delivery of bulk or bagged produt to homeowners, landscape job sites, garden centers, and resorts.

In addition, our experienced staff and state of the art equipment are available for large scale on-site grinding and land clearing which puts our knowledge of wood processing at your fingertips.
